Congratulations, Ernest Porter!

Out of thousands of entries, Ernest’s amazing, unique photo of a Rock Monitor peeking out of a knothole has been selected for the final round of judging in the 2017 Africa Geographic Photographer of the Year contest. Only 27 photos are finalists this year–and once again, Ernest has been honored to be among the very best in the world. His photo made it to the Top 5!

This is the THIRD year in a row that one of Ernest’s photos have been selected as a finalist in this prestigious contest. This photo will be published in the 2017 Africa Geographic Yearbook ($35 USD + shipping; Eagle Eye Safaris receives no compensation for this link).
